Striking claim from Turhan Çömez: I am noting this for history, this privilege will wipe TOGG off the historical stage

İYİ Party Group Deputy Chairman Turhan Çömez made a striking claim regarding TOGG during a live broadcast he attended. Çömez alleged that TOGG, which was constantly kept on the agenda before the presidential elections, will be wiped off the historical stage.

İYİ Party Group Deputy Chairman Turhan Çömez was a guest on the 'Gündem Özel' program broadcast on Halk TV.

Making statements regarding TOGG, Çömez put forward a claim that will create an agenda.

The 'austerity package' will be discussed in the TBMM today. Article 11 of the austerity package was debated as providing a privilege for certain electric vehicles.

Evaluating this situation, Turhan Çömez explained that this situation will harm TOGG by providing a privilege to that Chinese brand which will establish a factory in Turkey.

'IT WILL LEAD TO TOGG BEING WIPED OFF THE HISTORICAL STAGE!'

İYİ Party Group Deputy Chairman Turhan Çömez used the following expressions:

'"We are bringing a so-called omnibus bill to Parliament regarding an austerity package.

One of these, Article 11, very clearly grants a great deal of privilege to the firm related to an electric vehicle planned to come from China. We are enacting a law for this. It is incomprehensible.

You will see, I am noting this for history, this situation is a privilege that will severely damage TOGG and lead to TOGG being wiped off the historical stage!"
