Striking claim set to dominate the agenda: 88 ships went to Israel in 1 month

Recently, trade between Turkey and Israel has become one of the most debated topics. It has emerged that 88 ships, which were stated to be carrying goods from Turkey to Palestine in the last month, actually unloaded their cargo at Israeli ports.

Researcher Metin Cihan explained in detail on social media how this trade continues.

In his social media post, Metin Cihan stated that the documents for products sent to Israel were arranged as if they were going to Palestine, and that trade was maintained through this method.

Cihan stated that 88 ships were sent to Israel in just the last month and that 4 more ships are currently sailing toward Israel, noting that he obtained this information from the marinetraffic platform, which tracks international ship traffic.

Cihan also criticized the situation by saying, "For Erdoğan and Netanyahu, the only sacred thing is trade." 

Metin Cihan had previously itemized the ongoing trade between Turkey and Israel. In his new post today at 16:00, documents and allegations followed one another again.

'MANY OF ISRAEL'S NEEDS WERE BEING MET BY US'

"Israel had responded in the same way to Turkey's decision to stop trade. But trade had to continue somehow because Israel's needs for steel, cement, raw materials, food, clothing, and many other things were being met by us.

Cutting this off completely would have caused serious problems there. They decided to handle it through Palestine, which they are burning, destroying, and massacring tens of thousands of its people. Israel banned imports from Turkey but allowed them to continue as if they were being made with Palestine.

According to the newspaper report, the documents of the ship departing from Turkey are arranged as Palestine. The ship docks at an Israeli port and the goods are delivered to Israel. For this method, a commission of 3-5% is paid to the company established in Palestine that appears as the buyer of the goods when departing from Turkey. That's all."

Recalling that Turkish officials claimed they had rejected or stopped trade following Israel's attacks on Gaza, Cihan said that in reality, trade continues.

'TRADE WITH ISRAEL IS MAINTAINED VIA PALESTINE'

Stating that every need of the Israeli army had been met for six months, Cihan emphasized that this situation was finally admitted after the elections, but that trade was not interrupted.

Cihan stated that trade with Israel is maintained via Palestine and reported that a 3-5% commission is paid to intermediary companies.

With documents arranged as if they are going to Palestine, ships dock at Israeli ports and products are delivered to Israel. He emphasized that many products such as steel and cement are sent to Israel via Palestine using this method.

'WE ONLY CONDEMN IT IN WORDS BUT...'

Stating that other methods are also used, Cihan said that shipments to Israel are also carried out through companies established in countries such as Greece, Romania, and Italy. He expressed that the increases seen in the export of certain products were made through these countries.

Furthermore, noting that Israel meets its oil needs from Azerbaijan and that the shipment of this oil is carried out by Turkey, Cihan stated, "In return, we receive 80 cents per barrel," and noted that no sanctions have been applied in this regard either.

Cihan criticized this situation in harsh language, saying, "We only condemn it in words, but we continue to meet Israel's needs."
