Striking comment from Yılmaz Özdil on the investigation launched into Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı: 'The one whose back was patted for being a pro-government supporter...'

An investigation has been launched into pro-government journalist Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı, who claimed that a trustee would be appointed to the CHP.

Journalist Yılmaz Özdil made a noteworthy post on his X account following the investigation launched into Kütahyalı.

"THE ONE WHOSE BACK WAS PATTED FOR BEING A PRO-GOVERNMENT SUPPORTER..."

In his post, Özdil stated, "The government has finally seen what kind of trouble fake news and the deranged journalists whose backs were patted for being pro-government can cause for the government; I hope this will be a lasting realization."

WHAT HAPPENED?

An investigation was launched into Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı due to his claims on his social media account that trustees would be appointed to the CHP and some of its municipalities. Making a statement on the matter, Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç said, "A judicial investigation has been launched by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding these posts."
