Striking development in the Ayşe Barım case: Informant found to have a criminal record for fraud

A remarkable development has occurred in the case of talent manager Ayşe Barım, who is currently in custody and accused of directing artists in connection with the Gezi Park protests. Before Barım's hearing scheduled for July 7, an anonymous tip reached the court, containing extensive statements regarding individuals and structures allegedly threatening the country's economic and social stability.

The Istanbul 26th High Criminal Court, taking the content of the tip into account, requested the identity of the informant from the Istanbul Police Department. The identification process revealed that the tip was provided by an individual named Sedat Gül. According to police records, Sedat Gül is a person who has previously faced legal proceedings for "forgery of official documents," "qualified fraud," and "violation of the Turkish Commercial Code."

The tip message also included photographs of Barım taken with actors. This development is considered a significant detail that could influence the course of the trial.
