Striking question from İmamoğlu to President Erdoğan following arrests: 'What is your fear?'

Ekrem İmamoğlu reacted to the arrest of 9 people who protested AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan over 'trade with Israel' with the words, 'what is your fear'.

Addressing Erdoğan, İmamoğlu stated, "Why are you afraid? These young people are protesting the hypocrisy in the country and they are not afraid of you. So, what is your fear?"

Ekrem İmamoğlu said the following:

Nine of our young people who showed their reaction to the oppression in Palestine have unfortunately been arrested. 

The lightning-fast arrest of young people who criticized and spoke out against the President regarding trade with Israel is a new legal absurdity that wounds the conscience.

What kind of intolerance is this? 

Why are you afraid? These young people are protesting the hypocrisy in the country and they are not afraid of you.
