Tayyar stated that the investigation could be an important step toward unraveling the network of dirty relationships within the judiciary.
Tayyar noted that the two mobile phones for which Epözdemir did not provide passwords would be unlocked with the help of the MIT (National Intelligence Organization), and that if necessary, technological support could be sought from the US or China to crack the passwords of the iPhone devices.
Emphasizing that the investigation would deepen if the passwords are cracked, Tayyar used the expression, "This is as important as the İmamoğlu investigation."
Evaluating the course of the process, Tayyar also said he knows that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has broken the pressure on the investigation process and has taken a stance that "no one should interfere, no matter who it reaches."
Tayyar's post is as follows:
"The arrest of lawyer Rezan Epözdemir on charges of 'bribery' is very important.
It is planned to unlock the two separate mobile phones for which he did not provide passwords with the help of the MIT.
Technological support can be obtained from the US or China to crack the passwords of the iPhone brand phones.
If the passwords are cracked, it is expected that the network of dirty relationships in the judiciary will be unraveled and the investigation will be deepened.
If the investigation deepens, it is hard to predict where it will lead. I would like to underline that it is as important as the İmamoğlu investigation.
We know that our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has broken the pressure on the investigation process and has taken a stance that no one should interfere, no matter who it reaches.
This process will have multi-faceted consequences; let us watch and see."
