Following the court-ordered reinstatement of Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu as Chairman of the CHP, developments regarding the new era in party management are being closely followed. While the party's Central Executive Board (MYK) has not yet been announced, the Party Assembly meeting has also not been held.
Former CHP Istanbul Provincial Chair trustee Gürsel Tekin made assessments regarding the process in statements he made on TGRT, a channel close to the government.
“THERE WILL BE NEW PARTICIPATIONS IN THE PARTY”
Claiming that Kılıçdaroğlu obtained certain documents and audio recordings during the absolute nullity process, Tekin said that there would be participations in the CHP from different political parties in the new era. Stating that negotiations are being held with many names, Tekin expressed that new contacts regarding the party are continuing.
“HE KNOWS A LOT BUT HAS NOT VOICED IT”
Arguing that Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu has knowledge on many issues but has not shared them with the public, Tekin said, “There are very dirty media groups that are infecting the CHP base. These are not opposition media groups; they are under the protection of a certain group.”
WEEKEND EXPECTATION FOR THE MYK
Tekin added that he expects Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu to announce the Central Executive Board by Saturday or Sunday at the latest.
