Strong downpour warning for Marmara and Western Black Sea!

The General Directorate of Meteorology has issued a strong downpour warning for the eastern part of the Marmara region and provinces in the Western Black Sea.

Strong downpours are expected in Bursa, Yalova, the southern parts of Bilecik, Kocaeli, Sakarya, and Düzce starting from noon, and in Bolu after the evening hours.

According to the statement, the precipitation is expected to fall as a mix of rain and snow at altitudes above 1000 meters.

Furthermore, caution and vigilance are advised due to the risk of avalanches in the high-altitude areas of the Eastern Black Sea and the sloped regions with high snow cover in the eastern part of Eastern Anatolia.
