Strong downpours and thunderstorms expected in the Black Sea region: Meteorology issues warning
The General Directorate of Meteorology has announced that downpours starting this afternoon in the Central Black Sea region will be locally strong in the vicinity of Samsun, Ordu, and Giresun. In the Western Black Sea region, similar risks are expected starting from nighttime hours in the vicinity of Düzce, Zonguldak, and Bartın. Furthermore, in the Western Black Sea region, downpours are expected to increase in intensity locally starting from nighttime hours in the vicinity of Düzce, Zonguldak, and Bartın, as well as in the eastern parts of Sakarya and the northern sections of Bolu and Karabük.
