Due to the northeasterly wind, which reached speeds of up to 40 kilometers at times, 9 domestic and foreign-flagged freighters and tankers anchored off the coast of Tekirdağ. Fishermen were unable to set sail due to the strong wind. İbrahim Pehlivanoğlu, President of the Tekirdağ Süleymanpaşa Fisheries Cooperative, told an AA reporter that fishermen are waiting at the port.

Pehlivanoğlu stated that fishing activities will resume once the weather improves.

On the other hand, private training flights at Çorlu Airport were also canceled due to adverse weather conditions.

In the city, where the air temperature was measured at 7 degrees, the northeasterly wind is expected to remain effective for two days.
