The 4.7-magnitude earthquake, which occurred at 17:57 at a depth of 5 kilometers in Merzifon, Amasya, was also felt in Çorum, Giresun, Samsun, and Sivas.

In a statement made by AFAD, it was reported that another earthquake with a magnitude of 4.4 occurred with its epicenter in the Mecitözü district of Çorum. The depth of the tremor was announced as 13.3 kilometers.

According to initial assessments following the earthquakes, no negative incidents have been reported.
