Successive heavy rain warnings for Istanbul

According to a statement from the Meteorology 1st Regional Directorate's Istanbul Regional Forecast and Early Warning Center, local heavy rainfall and thunderstorms are expected tomorrow between 07:00 and 12:00, particularly in the city's northern districts and around the Bosphorus.
The statement emphasized that citizens should be careful and take precautions against potential negative impacts such as flash floods, inundation, lightning strikes, local hail, and disruptions to transportation.
WARNING FROM AFAD
The Ministry of Interior's Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) also warned citizens about the rainfall on social media.
AFAD's message stated, "According to the latest information and assessments from the General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM), local heavy rainfall and thunderstorms are expected in Istanbul on Tuesday, August 27, between the morning and noon hours, particularly in the northern districts and around the Bosphorus.
We strongly remind our citizens to be careful against negative impacts such as flash floods, inundation, lightning strikes, local hail, and disruptions to transportation."

In a post regarding the rainfall on the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality's (IMM) social media account, it was stated, "Attention Istanbul residents! According to AKOM data, strong thunderstorm passages are expected across the province starting from tomorrow (Tuesday) morning until noon. Please contact ALO 153 in case of any potential negative situations."
