A person has ended their life at the Yenikapı station of Marmaray in Istanbul. Following the incident, there were disruptions in train services on the Halkalı-Gebze line.
In a statement made on Marmaray's social media account at 14:52, it was stated, "Due to a tragic incident at the Yenikapı station, single-line operations are being conducted, and there are delays in Marmaray services. It is kindly announced that our passengers should consider alternative transportation options to avoid being affected by the delays."
The statement noted that due to the incident at the Yenikapı station, services are being maintained on a single line, which is causing delays in Marmaray operations.
