A person attempted suicide at the Ceylan AVM located on the Diyarbakır-Şanlıurfa road.
According to the report by Sertaç Kayar from Güneydoğu Ekspres, a citizen who went to the terrace floor of the shopping mall climbed onto the railing and attempted to jump.
The citizen who attempted suicide was heard saying, "I do not want to live in a world where children are dying. Why are we remaining silent while children are dying like this?"
WHAT HAPPENED?
The incident occurred on the afternoon of August 21 in the rural Tavşantepe neighborhood of the Bağlar district. When Narin, who was attending a Quran course, did not return home, her family searched the area on their own. When the searches conducted with the villagers yielded no results, Narin's father, Arif Güran, went to the gendarmerie station at 20:00 on the same day and reported that his daughter was missing.
In recent days, Narin's 18-year-old brother, E.G., had also been detained and taken to the Istanbul Council of Forensic Medicine due to a bite mark on his arm. After the examination determined that the bite mark did not belong to Narin, E.G. was released.
Mother Yüksel Güran had also been detained on Saturday. Father Güran had stated that his brother S.G. and his wife were not detained, but were only taken to the police station to have their statements taken.
Uncle Salim Güran, who was detained on August 31, was arrested on September 2. As the investigation expanded, a search was also conducted at the home of another of Narin's uncles.
It was announced that Narin Güran's lifeless body was found 19 days later in a stream bed, covered with stones.
Zorluoğlu stated in his announcement, "According to initial findings, it is understood that after Narin was killed, she was placed in a sack, brought to the edge of the stream, placed in the water, and covered with stones to give it a natural appearance."
