Yenikapı-Hacıosman Following a suicide attempt on the metro, a statement issued by Metro Istanbul said, "Due to a passenger attempting suicide at our Yenikapı station on the M2 Yenikapı-Hacıosman Metro Line, our Yenikapı station has been closed to operations."
It was reported that a citizen attempted suicide in an incident that occurred on the 'M2' metro line serving in Istanbul.
Citizens waiting at metro stations were informed about the situation via announcements. In a statement shared on social media by Metro Istanbul, it was emphasized that the Yenikapı station, where the incident took place, has been closed to operations and that services are continuing between the Vezneciler and Hacıosman stations.
