Suicide attempt on the metro: Yenikapı station closed
Metro Istanbul has announced that an individual has attempted suicide on the Yenikapı-Hacıosman Metro Line. Due to the incident, Yenikapı station has been temporarily closed to operations, and services are continuing between Vezneciler and Hacıosman.

An unidentified individual has attempted suicide at the Yenikapı station on the M2 Yenikapı-Hacıosman Metro Line. For this reason, the Yenikapı station on the line has been closed to operations.
In a statement made by Metro Istanbul, the following was noted:
“Due to a passenger attempting suicide at the Yenikapı station on the M2 Yenikapı-Hacıosman Metro Line, the Yenikapı station has been closed to operations. Services are being operated between the Vezneciler and Hacıosman stations.”
