Student dies by suicide in KYK dormitory

A student has ended their life in their room at the Hacettepe University Beytepe Student Housing.

A female student has ended her life in her room at the Hacettepe University Beytepe Student Housing, J Block.

Following the incident, it was reported that police and ambulance services arrived at the scene, followed by crime scene investigation teams.

4TH SUICIDE IN THE LAST MONTH

On October 30, I.Z.K., a student at the Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in Ankara, was found dead in their dormitory room.

R.A., a student at Anadolu University, ended their life in front of the campus cafeteria on the night between October 14 and 15. In a 3-page note allegedly found in the pocket of R.A., who was studying elementary mathematics education, R.A. stated that they were experiencing financial hardship, a situation that was also confirmed by their friends.

In the weeks prior to that, a university student named Sezen also ended her life at the Mükrime Hatun Girls' KYK Dormitory in Eskişehir.
