Süleyman Soylu asks for more time for Erdoğan, saying 'Turkey needs him': Specifies a timeframe

Soylu said, "Against those who said 'You cannot do it,' our President told us all, 'We can do it, we can realize it, and we can succeed.' Now we have an opportunity before us. We must manage this opportunity together and take great steps toward the future together. Our President is pursuing a very cautious policy. Turkey needs Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for another 6-8 years."

Reminding that he continues his duty as a Member of Parliament, Soylu stated that the AKP is not just the name of a political party, but the name of a great cause and journey. Soylu said, "The AKP is the name of the 16 great Turkish states that have been established. The AKP is the party whose scent we all miss, love, and wait for. The AKP is the name and image of our entire geography and our world of hearts."

Süleyman Soylu also shared various examples regarding political developments in Turkey in past years and continued as follows:

"They slandered everyone in this country who wanted to take a step toward the future. But you were not afraid of any of them, you were not afraid of coups, you did not bow down to any slander. You were not afraid of the straitjacket that America, Europe, and the West tried to put on us. You were not afraid or hesitant to build this country's ANKA, to build this country's UAV, to build this country's Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge and present not just a construction, but an idea, and to integrate Hagia Sophia, which everyone watched with tears, with this nation."

"HE GAVE THE NATION SELF-CONFIDENCE"

Stating that the AKP is not just a political party, Soylu thanked the organization members who have been resisting for 25 years to bring the nation's values to the world and to make their voices heard under the leadership of world leader Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Emphasizing that President Erdoğan's stance has given this nation self-confidence, Soylu made the following assessment:

"Against those who said 'You cannot do it,' our President told us all, 'We can do it, we can realize it, and we can succeed.' Now we have an opportunity before us. We must manage this opportunity together and take great steps toward the future together. Turkey needs Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for another 6-8 years. There are three types of leaders in the world. Top-floor leader, middle-floor leader, and bottom-floor leader. For the first time in a century, we are facing a top-floor leader. They will polish people who have been involved in corruption and have done nothing, and they will try to put Tayyip Erdoğan, who has brought Turkey together with all its aspirations for 25 years, a quarter of a century, out of the game. There is no such looting; I am saying this as a child of this country."

Explaining the importance of organization in politics, Soylu underlined that politics and organization are a matter of discipline, as well as loyalty to both the cause and the leader.

Recalling that they constantly state that there are proxy wars in the world, Süleyman Soylu said, "Who were we saying these for? For DAESH, for the PKK. Now the great American State has become Israel's proxy warrior. This is the point the world has reached. We must be very cautious. Our President is pursuing a very cautious policy. He is pursuing a perfect policy, including the Syria and Iran issue."
