Supreme Court Prosecutor assaulted in traffic

It has emerged that Supreme Court Prosecutor Necip Cem İşçimen was assaulted by a driver honking his horn after he attempted to issue a traffic warning following the Fenerbahçe-Alanyaspor match.

Supreme Court Prosecutor Necip Cem İşçimen was attacked in an incident that occurred after the Fenerbahçe vs. Alanyaspor match played in the Süper Lig.

After the match, Prosecutor İşçimen got out of his vehicle to warn the driver behind him who was honking his horn, and became the target of a road rage incident.

IT EMERGED THAT THE ATTACKER HAD A CRIMINAL RECORD OF 7 OFFENSES

According to the information obtained, the attacker, who has a record of 7 offenses, knocked the prosecutor to the ground and punched him repeatedly.

JUDICIAL INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED

Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç, in a post on his social media account, stated that he strongly condemned the physical attack on İşçimen and noted the following:

"I convey my best wishes for a speedy recovery to our Supreme Court Prosecutor. A judicial investigation has been launched by the Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the attack, which has deeply saddened us and our judicial community."

 

WHO IS NECİP CEM İŞÇİMEN?

Necip Cem İşçimen, the Deputy Chief Public Prosecutor of the Ankara Bureau for Crimes Against the Constitutional Order, who took the first step by launching an investigation and issuing arrest warrants for the coup plotters during the hours when the July 15 coup attempt was in full swing, was the person who announced that an investigation had been launched and arrest warrants had been issued for the coup plotters by connecting to 3 separate live broadcasts on July 15.

During the time İşçimen was in charge of the Constitutional Bureau, a total of 69 separate FETÖ cases were opened, 20 of which were related to the coup attempt.
