Making a statement regarding the forest fires that have broken out in many parts of Turkey in recent days, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı announced that the fire on the Sakarya and Bilecik line has been largely brought under control. Drawing attention to the rain that fell in the region in the morning hours, Yumaklı said, “A blessing from my Lord. This rain has greatly eased our work.”

Emphasizing that the teams worked with great devotion throughout the night, Minister Yumaklı stated, “Just last night, our colleagues opened 58 kilometers of forest road within 6 hours. This is a very striking figure in terms of explaining the scale of the intervention.”
