In Istanbul's Kadıköy district, while a shuttle vehicle belonging to a private school was picking up students yesterday morning, someone knocked on the window while it was stopped at a red light and said, "your tire is flat." When the driver got out of the vehicle to check the tire, an unidentified suspect got into the vehicle and drove off with it. The suspect told those inside, "I have no business with you. I will let you off shortly."
The suspect, who followed through on his word, let the students and the attendant off in Göztepe and then abandoned the vehicle in Pendik before fleeing. Following the incident, teams from the Public Security Branch Office's Robbery Bureau launched an investigation. As a result of the efforts, the suspect was apprehended. The suspect, identified as Tolga N., was taken to the Public Security Branch Office for questioning.
