Suspect who killed person he argued with on social media arrested
In the Zile district of Tokat, Mustafa Günel, the suspect who killed a person he had argued with on social media over allegations of 'insulting Atatürk,' has been arrested.

According to reports, a dispute had been ongoing for approximately 2 months on social media between Mustafa G., who lives in the Zile district of Tokat, and Vesile Y., who lives in Mersin, over allegations of insulting Atatürk.
Following the argument, Mustafa G. sent his location to Vesile Y.
Vesile Y., her husband İshak Y. (50), their son Hakan Y. (20), and their relatives Halil İbrahim Y. and Caner G. traveled by car from Mersin to Günel's residence in the Alacamescit neighborhood.
When the argument continued there and escalated into a fight, Mustafa G. opened fire with a shotgun, killing İshak Y. at the scene. The others fled the area.
Upon notification, police teams dispatched to the scene took Mustafa G. into custody.
After his procedures at the police station, the suspect was referred to the courthouse and was arrested by the judge on duty.
