Suspect who killed police officer Yılmaz transferred to prison
The suspect who shot and killed police officer Şeyda Yılmaz in Ümraniye, Istanbul, has been transferred from Metris Prison to a prison in Erzincan.

Police officer Şeyda Yılmaz (27) was martyred on September 23 in Ümraniye during efforts to apprehend the suspect, Yunus Emre Geçti (19), who had a criminal record of 26 offenses.
The murder suspect, Yunus Emre Geçti, had been arrested and placed in Metris Prison on charges of “intentional killing of a public official due to their duty.”
The murder suspect, Geçti, has been transferred to a prison in Erzincan.
Geçti was seen at Erzincan Yıldırım Akbulut Airport under gendarmerie escort, handcuffed and wearing a mask and a hat.
