Suspect who stabbed and killed his ex-wife in Konya arrested

Fatih U. (27), who had called his ex-wife Bahriye Kalaycı (24), with whom he had been arguing, to a vacant lot on November 2 under the pretext of talking, had stabbed the young woman to death in İsmil neighborhood. Fatih U., who later injured himself with the same knife, gave his statement at Konya City Hospital, where he was receiving treatment, under the instruction of the prosecutor's office.

It was learned that the suspect stated in his testimony that they had divorced last year due to severe incompatibility.

The arrested suspect will be sent to prison after his treatment is completed.
