When a person named Ali Kılınç went missing in Sarıyer in February 2020, his family notified the police, and AFAD, the Sarıyer Municipality Civil Defense Unit, and other search and rescue teams launched a search in the forest.

FOUND IN A WELL AFTER 48 HOURS

Ali Kılınç, who was found by search and rescue teams in a 12-meter well in the forest 48 hours later, was taken to the hospital and placed under treatment.

DIED BY BURNING IN THE SAME FOREST

Ali Kılınç went to the same forest again with his friends in recent days. During this time, Ali Kılınç caught fire suddenly when he approached the fire with a flammable substance he was holding.

RECORDED WITH A MOBILE PHONE

While one of his friends who saw this was recording with a mobile phone, his other friends extinguished Ali Kılınç using a jacket and water. Kılınç, who was taken to the hospital by an ambulance that arrived at the scene, could not be saved and lost his life.
