A suspicious package found at the Ankara-Tandoğan train station was destroyed by security teams.

A loud explosion was reported in Ankara late at night. The Ankara Police Department stated that a suspicious package found around the Tandoğan station was detonated by bomb disposal units.

Regarding the explosion, a statement shared by the Ankara Governor's Office in 2018 was circulated on social media, which read, 'It has been understood that it occurred during a test flight conducted at the TAI General Directorate as part of the F-16 Modernization Project it was understood.' statement.

The Ankara Police Department stated in its announcement, 'Security measures were taken around the Tandoğan High-Speed Train Station, and a suspicious package procedure was carried out by our bomb disposal experts.
