Sweden's NATO membership regulation to be voted on in the Turkish Parliament

The regulation regarding Sweden's NATO membership will be discussed in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) General Assembly tomorrow.

The Bill on the Approval of the Protocol on Sweden's Accession to NATO was accepted by the TBMM Foreign Affairs Committee on December 26, 2023.

The regulation regarding Sweden's NATO membership will be voted on in the TBMM General Assembly tomorrow.

If the bill is accepted in the TBMM General Assembly, Sweden's NATO membership will be approved.

ERDOĞAN HAD SIGNED THE PROTOCOL

The Protocol on Sweden's Accession to NATO was signed by AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan on October 23, 2023, and submitted to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.
