Düzce's Akçakoca district governor's office announced that entering the sea is prohibited until further notice due to poor weather and sea conditions. Lifeguard teams patrolling the coastline are raising red flags and frequently warning citizens not to enter the water.

A similar measure has been implemented in the Karasu, Kocaali, and Kaynarca districts of Sakarya. In these three districts along the Black Sea coast, the district governor's offices have banned swimming due to adverse weather and sea conditions. The Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality lifeguard teams are continuing their warnings for the safety of citizens by switching flags to red.

Authorities have stated that the ban may be lifted once weather and sea conditions return to normal in the coming days. Citizens are urged to follow safety recommendations and are strongly advised not to enter the sea to prevent any untoward incidents.
