Restrictions on entering the sea have been imposed in Sakarya, Düzce, and Kocaeli, which have coastlines on the Black Sea, due to unfavorable weather and sea conditions. Swimming has been banned at all beaches in the Karasu, Kocaali, and Kaynarca districts of Sakarya.

Following the decision taken by the district governorships, lifeguard teams on duty at the beaches have raised red flags. The Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality lifeguard teams are also warning citizens to comply with the ban.

Adverse weather and sea conditions are also affecting the Akçakoca district of Düzce. For this reason, swimming is not permitted at any beaches or coastal areas in the district. Lifeguard teams continue to issue warnings along the shores.

In the Kandıra district of Kocaeli, the ban covers certain beaches. Swimming has been prohibited at all beaches in the district except for Kovanağzı, Kerpe, and Miço.

The Kandıra District Governorship announced that in areas where lifeguard services are provided and no ban is in place, swimming is limited to sections marked by buoys and markers. A swimming ban was also in effect yesterday in the Karasu, Kocaali, and Kaynarca districts of Sakarya, as well as in Kandıra, due to unfavorable conditions.
