The university published an advertisement in the Official Gazette today for the recruitment of a "professor doctor" for the Tourism and Hotel Management department of the Faculty of Business and Management Sciences.
The advertisement in question has taken "tailor-made" job postings to another level. The ad required candidates to have conducted studies in the fields of the Hospitality Sector, Destination Management, and Tourism Psychology.
Another qualification sought in the advertisement was stated as "Asım Saldanlı." The fact that a specific name was written in the requirements of the ad brought the debate over tailor-made appointments to mind.
