TCDD Starbucks decision: 'We have made an official notification'
TCDD has announced that it has notified contractors operating train services to stop using Starbucks products and to offer alternative products instead.

The Republic of Türkiye State Railways (TCDD) has instructed all contractor firms to remove products from Starbucks, which has declared its support for Israel, from High-Speed Trains (YHT).
Ufuk Yalçın, General Manager and Chairman of the Board of TCDD Taşımacılık A.Ş., announced the relevant decision on his social media account, stating the following:
"Our company does not have any contract with the coffee producer firm in question, which has caused outrage in the international public since the first days of October, and which has applied mobbing to its employees who criticized the genocide committed against our oppressed Palestinian brothers and the occupying Israel.
An official notification has been made to the contractor firm that operates the cafeterias on our High-Speed Trains regarding the offering of alternative products to our passengers instead of the products of the coffee producer firm in question.
Our noble nation has always stood by the oppressed against the oppressors. As the TCDD General Directorate of Transportation, we present to the public's information that we will always stand by our PALESTINIAN brothers."
