The world's first UCAV carrier, TCG Anadolu, along with 15 warships from the Turkish Armed Forces' inventory, held a parade through the Bosphorus as part of the 486th anniversary celebrations of the Preveza Naval Victory.

Turkey's first amphibious assault ship and the world's first UCAV carrier, TCG Anadolu, along with 15 warships in the inventory of the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK), held a parade through the Bosphorus as part of the 486th anniversary of the Preveza Naval Victory and the September 28 Turkish Naval Forces Day celebrations.

During the parade, which was held under the tactical command of the Fleet Commander, the crews of the ships sailing in the Bosphorus alongside TCG Anadolu saluted the tomb of Kaptan-ı Derya Barbaros Hayrettin Pasha with a "çimariva" (man-the-rail) salute as they passed off the coast of Beşiktaş.

The Preveza Naval Victory, one of the turning points in Turkey's maritime history and a glorious victory that demonstrated the power of the Turkish Navy to the entire world, is also celebrated as Turkish Naval Forces Day.
