Teenager who allegedly injured himself "while carving a tree with a knife" has died
Devran Kara, who allegedly "injured himself while carving a tree with a knife" in Mamak, has died. The cause of Kara's death is under investigation.

According to the information received, health and police teams were dispatched to Koşuyolu Park on Natoyolu Street in Ankara's Mamak district yesterday evening following a report that Devran Kara (15) had been injured by a knife.
First aid was administered at the scene to Kara, whose artery had been severed. Kara was then taken to Mamak State Hospital, but could not be saved despite all interventions.
Police teams found the knife that caused Kara's death on the stairs inside the park and took it into custody.
Kara's friend U.T. (15), who was in the park at the time of the incident, was taken to the Şehit Celal Sönmez Police Station in Akdere to provide a statement.
It was learned that U.T. stated that "Kara injured himself while trying to carve a tree in the park with the knife in his hand."
It was reported that a fingerprint analysis will be conducted on the knife.
