Tension grows between Oytun Erbaş and Fatih Altaylı: Paranoid claims...

Prof. Dr. Oytun Erbaş made a striking claim during a program he attended on Beyaz TV. On the live broadcast, Erbaş held Fatih Altaylı responsible for the termination of his university position, stating, "I lost my job due to pressure from Fatih Altaylı, and laboratories worth millions of dollars have gone to waste."

'PARANOID CLAIMS HAVE CROSSED THE LINE INTO DISHONESTY' 

Fatih Altaylı responded to these statements in an article he wrote on his own website. Describing the claims as "dishonesty and paranoia hidden under the guise of madness," Altaylı expressed his reaction by saying, "This person is attacking me to get attention. However, he has turned it into slander."

Altaylı stated that the accusations directed at him by Oytun Erbaş have absolutely no connection to reality.

Stating that he has never intervened to have anyone fired, Altaylı said the following: 

"He said that I had him fired from the university where he worked and that because of this, laboratories worth millions of dollars have gone to waste. As if I have nothing better to do than call a university rector and say, 'Fire this man.' And as if the university rector has nothing better to do than dismiss a professor just because I said so. Throughout my life, I have never called anyone to get them fired from their job. I did not call anyone for this mentally unhealthy person either. I have never once called the rector he mentioned. Altaylı stated that Erbaş's claims are not only baseless but have also turned into a smear campaign against him, and he announced that he will pursue legal action.
