OPERATION STATEMENT FROM THE SYRIAN ARMY

In a statement made by the Syrian army, it was announced that an operation would be launched as of 13:30 against SDF positions in the Sheikh Maqsood, Ashrafieh, and Bani Zaid neighborhoods, which are stated to be under PKK/YPG control in Aleppo.

It was reported that at least six people, including five civilians, have lost their lives and 39 others have been injured in the SDF's attacks on Aleppo since Tuesday. Speaking to the official Syrian news agency SANA, Syrian Civil Defense officials announced that more than 3,000 civilians were evacuated from the region on Wednesday due to deteriorating humanitarian conditions and the ongoing bombardment by the SDF. It was noted that the majority of the evacuated civilians were from the Sheikh Maqsood and Ashrafieh neighborhoods.
