Teoman sings for the Saturday Mothers

Renowned artist Teoman has re-recorded the song "Benim Annem Cumartesi" (My Mother is Saturday) by the band Bandista to mark the 1000th week of the Saturday Mothers' vigil at Galatasaray Square.

The resistance of the Saturday Mothers, who have been gathering at Galatasaray Square since Saturday, May 27, 1995, to ask about the fate of their missing relatives, is entering its 1000th week. 

Artist Teoman has also lent his support to the relatives of the missing, who have resisted bans and detentions for 1000 weeks. 

"MY MOTHER IS SATURDAY"

To mark the 1000th week, Teoman re-recorded the song "Benim Annem Cumartesi", which was written by the group Bandista for the Saturday Mothers. 

The Saturday Mothers shared Teoman's rendition on their social media accounts with the note: "Artist Teoman has performed the song 'Benim Annem Cumartesi', with lyrics and music by Bandista, for the Saturday Mothers. #SaturdayMothers1000Weeks".
