Testimony of man who decapitated his roommate with an axe and threw the head into the street revealed
The testimony given at the courthouse by the suspect who decapitated his friend and threw the head into the street in Zeytinburnu has been revealed. In his statement, the suspect, Yousef S., said, "I was angry at Muhammed because he supported Israel during the Israel-Palestine events and, in my opinion, he was committing treason. I cut off his head with an axe."

In the incident that took place on January 23 in the Seyitnizam neighborhood of Zeytinburnu, an argument between two foreign national roommates resulted in murder.
Yousef S. killed his roommate, Muhammed El Uzael, with a knife, then decapitated him with an axe and threw the head into the street.
Yousef S. then attempted suicide by jumping from the 5th floor. Yousef S., who was receiving treatment at the hospital, was brought to the courthouse recently to give his statement.
"HE WAS BETRAYING PALESTINE"
Stating that he is Palestinian, the suspect said in his testimony, "I came to Turkey four years ago. There were four of us staying in the house where the incident occurred.
There was an old issue between us and the victim, Muhammed; it was a very complicated situation.
I was angry at Muhammed because he supported Israel during the Israel-Palestine events and, in my opinion, he was committing treason. He was betraying Palestine," he said.
"I THREW THE HEAD TOWARD THE STREET"
Stating that they were left alone early in the morning on the day of the incident, the suspect said, "The subject I mentioned came up. Upon this, I stabbed Muhammed. I struck his neck because God assigned me this task.
Muhammed fell to the ground. After he fell, I cut off his head with an axe. There was a small knife and an axe in the house. I used these. His head came off, and then I took that head and threw it out the window into the street.
More accurately, I went up to the roof with the head I had severed, and first I threw the head toward the street, then I jumped down myself with the axe in my hand, attempting suicide. The place I jumped from was the fifth floor, but I did not die. I received treatment at the hospital.
As far as I know, I received treatment at a hospital during my time in Turkey because I had a mental breakdown. But I am fine now. This is all I have to say about the incident. I am very regretful for what I have done. My life will be wasted because of this incident," he stated.
