Testimony of Sultan Ulu, who witnessed Güllü being pushed by her daughter: 'She pretended to cry'

On September 26, in Yalova's Cinarcik district, Harmanlar Neighborhood, Vali Aki Street in the apartment buildingon the 5th-floor enclosed terrace of the famous singer Güllü (52), while having fun with her daughter and a friend, fell from the window and lost her life. Regarding Güllü's death, the Yalova Chief Public Prowithin the scope of the investigationconducted by theprosecutor's office, Güllü's daughter,TuğyanÜlkem Gülter,who was taken into custody, is charged with 'premeditated murder'of a relative was arrested for the crime of "murder"while Sultan Nur Ulu was placed under house arrest.

The testimony given in court by Sultan Nur Ulu, who was in the house at the time of the incident, has emerged. NurSultan Ulu, who confessed that her friend pushed her mother out of the window, was working as a nanny for Tuğyan Gülter's childat the time.She statedthat they came tothe center of Yalova for a meeting, and later returned to Çınarcık.She noted that they returned.

Ulu said they ate dinner and then watched a movie. While watching the movie, Tuğyan was talking on the phone with her boyfriend, Kervan E.She stated.noting that shewent back and forth totalk on the phone, Ulu stated, "Güllü's mother Tuğyan's going back and forth totalk on the phone made us uncomfortable, so we turned off the movie. Stating that they later went to the room where the incident took place with Tuğyan, Ulunoted the following in her testimony: noted the following in her testimony:

"While spending time in the room with Tuğyanwe were sitting. We were going back and forth to the living room. It happened in my roomwhile I was there, Tuğyan came back. There was no further conversation between them after that.I turned my headtowards the side where they were When I turnedaround, I saw Güllü's mother's face was facing outof the window, leaningslightly as if lookingout of the window. I sawTuğyanpushing her mother from behindI saw herwrap her arms around her legs from underneath, pulling her slightly towards herself and slightly upwards, pullingher. Isaw. Tuğyan, immediately after pulling her mother in that manner, her mother felldown.I saw the momentshe fell. Following the incident, Ulu told a relative named Hülyastating that she went to her house, "While we were at home, Hülyasister cameto us. She said, 'Come, let me take you tome.' I went to her house with her. Hülya sister, convinced that Güllü was murdered,saidto me in a certain manner,'EIf there issuch a situation, and I believe there is, take care of yourself. That is Güllü's daughter,' she said. Because I was afraid ofthe fact that they were a powerful family,I could not tell anyone, includingHülya, about what I had witnessed regarding Güllü's death. The day after the funeral, I metsomeone new.Bircan, whom I had met, said to me, 'Look, my dear, you don't know Tuğyan. I don't know what happened, I don't think Tuğyan could have done this. Take great care of yourself.'Idon't think so. Take great care of yourself,' she said. People were asking me what happened, but I couldn't tell anyone anything. Because I didn't know what Tuğyan would do to me during thisprocess,I was afraid of beingfalsely accused.I did not leave their side, fearing she might throw herself," she said.

Describing the conversation she had with Tuğyan during thisprocess, Ulu said,"During thisprocess, when I was alone with Tuğyan, she said to me, 'If I go down, we both go down.' The reason Tuğyan said this to me was because I had seen her mother being pushed.Because I reacted after I saw it, and at thatmoment, Tuğyan looked at me and said, 'Run.' When evening came, again Hülya's sisterI went to her, Hüseyin also arrived. Bircan told me, 'I spoke with Tuğyan.' Shesaid that if such a thing happened, she wouldblame it on me. TuğyanTuğyan told these things to sister Bircan because she was afraid that something might happen to her due to this incidentshe said.When I heard these, I started to get really scared. The only reason I stayed with Tuğyan and traveled back and forth to Istanbul with her after these events was that she should not be alone, because Ithoughtsobecause of myshe said.

Stating that she did not witnessa major argumentbetween Tuğyan and her mother,Ulu said that shehad seen Tuğyan's messagesdirected at her mothersuch as 'I will kill her',stating that she learned of theallegations from the media, shespokeas follows:

"Tuğyan had an argument with her motherof the kind that happens between every mother anddaughter, to the extent thatShe was making small complaints.However, she had never mentioned such amajor incident before.I nevermade a plan with Tuğyan to kill Güllü.I did not witnessTuğyan making a plan to kill Güllü.I did not witness Tuğyan's mother the reason for her killing her was the resentmentthathad been building up since her childhood. The reason I know about these is that Tuğyan told me about them after the incident."She pretended to cry.
