TFF President Hacıosmanoğlu speaks out, saying 'I'm revealing this for the first time': 'MIT has formed a team for me'

Turkish Football Federation President İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu made several statements during a television program he attended.

Hacıosmanoğlu also touched upon the issue of TFF Board Member Bayram Saral's recent departure from his post.

In his statement regarding the matter, Hacıosmanoğlu said, "I want to address the Turkish public. I received information last week. The despicable elements—I won't call them dogs—of FETÖ still have cliques in Turkey. They are delivering this message to me."

THEY ARE ALSO INSIDE THE NATIONAL INTELLIGENCE ORGANIZATION

Starting his remarks with the sentence, "The Republic of Turkey has an institution, the National Intelligence Organization, which the world talks about. I suspect there are cliques within it as well; they held a meeting last week," Hacıosmanoğlu continued as follows:

"They were going to form a team regarding the relationship between Hacıosmanoğlu and the Sarals. I know Mr. İbrahim Kalın; I don't think he is aware of this. If he is, it is a grave situation. I believe he is unaware. I am voicing this here for the first time; he will do what is necessary."

The continuation of Hacıosmanoğlu's statements is as follows:

"They say the Sarals have taken over the TFF. Where do they reach that conclusion from? There are elders of that family; we have had kinship ties and friendship for years. The family elders said, 'You love the President very much, these people will not stop, there is more behind what is being written, they have cliques in Turkey, it will harm the President, you, and us.' For this reason, Mr. Bayram had to leave. We will continue to benefit from his experience."

'THEY WERE DISTURBED BY US BECOMING PRESIDENT'

We worked for 12 days, and they elected us president. Our friend Bayram Saral, who has over 30 years of legal experience and deep knowledge of sports law, also manages Istanbulspor together with his cousin Ecmel Faik Sarıalioğlu. We set out together. 90 percent of Turkey was happy that we won; we became a beacon of hope. For some reason, there is a vile terrorist organization. There are FETÖ's dogs; they are constantly publishing videos about this country. They started from day one. They were disturbed by us becoming TFF President.

Now, when we look at it, if you manage an institution by making concessions, you will face problems. We will work for the benefit of both the clubs and the institution. We have reached this point by making concessions, but we will not do 'we did it, you apply it.' Even if we have discussions that might last 3 or 5 months, we will set those rules and principles, but these rules will never be bent. When they are bent, we face the current picture.

'OUR GOAL IS TO START FROM THE BOTTOM AND CONTINUE'

The situation of the clubs is obvious. To increase the brand value of Turkish football, one must start from the amateur level. If you do not support the amateur level, there will be no elements to feed the Super Lig. Products must be raised from the youth academies, otherwise, this is not sustainable; you buy 10 or 15 foreigners. We will work comprehensively on this issue as well. There are 4 groups in the 3rd league; this cannot be. We have businessman friends; you look at a province and see 3-4 professional teams, and you see the clubs collecting aid. If there were 2 professional teams, it would carry that province. We need to design all of these; it is a long marathon, but our goal is to start from the bottom and continue.

'THE TEAM CAPTAIN DOES NOT SAY "GÖZÜMÜZ AYDIN", HE SAYS "HAYIRLI OLSUN"'

Stating that he will continue with the National Team coach Montella, Hacıosmanoğlu said, "An Italian number called me, but I don't answer numbers that are not saved. Then a message came, it said, 'Mr. President, I am Hakan Çalhanoğlu, can I call?' The first thing the captain said when he called was 'Gözümüz aydın' (Congratulations/Good news)."

Saying that the team captain should have said "hayırlı olsun" (best wishes) instead of "gözün aydın," Hacıosmanoğlu expressed, "There is a message even in this. We will restore the self-confidence of these players. There are problems in the National Team. Where we are, there will be unity in the team. Vincenzo Montella is at the head of the National Team. We will continue together from now on."
