Turkish Football Federation President İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu made statements on CNN Türk.
Here are the statements of İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu;
"After becoming the federation president, I put anger aside. We are managing this place as the leader of the football family. I am sad, of course; our dear nation deserves better.
After receiving a 45-day ban from football-related activities, their refereeing career ends. Currently, there is an arbitration process because it has not been finalized. Once it is finalized by the Arbitration Board, the referee affairs will also terminate their duties.
A comprehensive investigation was conducted in April. The score of the Ankaraspor - Nazilli match was beneficial for both teams. We asked our colleagues to get to work on this immediately. Bets were placed on the match from both sides. We imposed the maximum penalty. Then I told my colleagues that we should start this investigation in a real sense. We were expecting 15 referees, but I was naturally saddened when these figures emerged.
I was truly saddened when the figures emerged. We will do whatever is necessary. We started with the referees, now it is the players' turn. 3,700 people are being investigated."
