In the thank you message he released, RTÜK President Daniş stated, "I have been elected to the position of President of the Supreme Council by the votes of our Radio and Television Supreme Council members.
I offer my respect and gratitude to our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who is always an example to us with his visionary leadership and his understanding of service dedicated to our country.
I would like to thank our Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mr. Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, for his support, our esteemed Supreme Council members, and our previous President, Mr. Ebubekir Şahin, who made significant contributions to the institution throughout his term.
As RTÜK, we will continue to work with all our strength for a strong media order that centers on national values, adopts a free but responsible broadcasting approach, and protects our families and children," he said.
