That brand has withdrawn its sponsorship of Fatih Altaylı

Journalist Fatih Altaylı, who was arrested on charges of threatening AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, stated that the Yatsan sponsorship, which had been ongoing for nearly two years, ended by the decision of the company's management.

In his program titled “Fatih Altaylı YORUMLAYAMIYOR” (Fatih Altaylı CANNOT COMMENT) on his YouTube channel, Altaylı emphasized that this decision was made under "patronage influence," noting that the collaboration, which was initially planned for three months, had been extended due to mutual satisfaction.

Reminding that Yatsan is owned by the UK and US-based Janus Henderson Group and that its CEO is Turkish, Altaylı thanked CEO Gökalp Bahçeli for the support provided to date. Altaylı conveyed that the termination of the sponsorship relationship was a decision from the company's top management and that the CEO was also saddened by the situation.

Altaylı's statement on the matter is as follows:

"The end of our sponsor Yatsan's sponsorship has drawn the attention of our viewers, and they have reacted; let me explain the situation.

Yatsan had been among our sponsors for nearly 2 years, and the journey we started as 3 months extended to a 2-year period due to mutual satisfaction and our positive contribution to the brand.

Our friendship with Yatsan's CEO, Mr. Gökalp, is very valuable. This is a patronage decision, and we thank our friend Gökalp, the CEO of Yatsan, for his support to date. I know that Mr. Gökalp is truly saddened by the end of this collaboration."
