Throughout the past week, Turkey remained under the influence of Siberian cold, and many regions were covered in a white blanket. In Istanbul, in particular, heavy snowfall negatively impacted daily life, leading to road closures and difficulties for citizens.
Meteorology experts state that the Siberian cold is gradually losing its effect and temperatures will rise incrementally. However, during this period, snowfall is expected to be effective along the Black Sea coast, particularly in the vicinity of Rize, Artvin, and Ardahan, starting Thursday and Friday morning.
While disruptions in transportation due to snow and icing continue across the country, experts are warning citizens to remain cautious.
