The file of the MHP member arrested for FETÖ: What is in the MIT correspondence?

Recently, the arrest of Mustafa Çintaş, who was a parliamentary candidate for the MHP for two terms, on charges related to FETÖ, had come to the fore. 

Journalist and T24 columnist Tolga Şardan shared the details of the judicial investigation conducted by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding Çintaş.  

Stating that there is no confidentiality order on the file, Şardan noted, "When the MIT (National Intelligence Organization) gets involved, the parties to the process might bring up the issue of 'disclosing state secrets'."

EVERYTHING STARTED WITH THE INVESTIGATION INTO A FETÖ COMPANY

Çintaş, who was detained and arrested for FETÖ last April, is a retired member of the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK). He served as a non-commissioned officer for years. The article I linked to already covers the process dating back to the early 1990s regarding Çintaş.

After his retirement, Çintaş began his political career in the MHP. He was a parliamentary candidate from İzmir in the 2015 and 2023 elections. Although he was not placed in a position to be elected, there must undoubtedly be a purpose for a politician found to have ties to FETÖ to be able to engage in active politics within the MHP.

All three of the MIT's letters are dated 2017. It is undoubtedly remarkable that while his connections were brought to light after his first candidacy in politics, no action was taken against him until 2024.

The first letter from the MIT Presidency is dated August 15, 2017:

"(...) Regarding the activities of FETÖ/PDY directed at the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK); it has been determined that the Ankara-based AFYE Herbal Products Company, which was allocated for the organization's activities directed at the Land Forces Command (KKK), was designed and established under the instruction of Fethullah Gülen in a way that its connection to FETÖ/PDY would not be known,

That the AFYE Company, under the control of FETÖ/PDY, was established by Mustafa Arslan, a member of FETÖ/PDY responsible for the KKK, and that the company's revenues were allocated to the activities of the aforementioned unit,

That Mustafa Arslan was the unofficial owner of the AFYE Company and was among the organization's 'Special' (Hususi) officials,

That the majority of the AFYE Company's employees consisted of organization members who were recently dismissed by Decree-Law (KHK), and that they were employed at the company without social security (SGK) premiums being paid in order to avoid official records,

That Mustafa Arslan was also connected to Selim Tahtalı, a FETÖ/PDY member who was in contact with the fugitive Adil Öksüz and the arrested Kemal Batmaz,

That Mustafa Arslan had traveled to the USA in the past with the arrested Ercan Ayla, the owner of Ayso Cooling Sales, Manufacturing, Import, Export Industry and Trade Ltd. Co.,

That the person named Mehmet Topdemir, an arrested 'Civil Imam' and member of the Secret Services who was in contact with the arrested former Air Brigadier General Gökhan Şahin Sönmezateş and the arrested former Air Pilot Major General Fethi Alpay, was also a partner in the Ayso Cooling firm until 2014,

That the AFYE Company was a subsidiary of the 'Deva Support Services Chemistry Health Food Import Export Trade Limited Company', and that the founding partners of the Deva Support Services Company consisted of Mustafa Arslan, Mehmet Ali codenamed E.Ş., who operated as a military official within FETÖ/PDY, M.B., who was reported to have been involved with Military Academy students in Ankara between 1993-1994, N.A., Ö.Y., Sabri Dağcı, Yücel Geven, and the person named Mustafa Çintaş,

That Prof. Dr. Ö.A., codenamed Orhan, who was dismissed from public service while a faculty member at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, was Mustafa Arslan's superior contact and worked for a period as the R&D Manager of the AFYE Company, that Ö.A. was among the FETÖ/PDY's nationwide officials responsible for the Land Forces Command and was in a wanted status, and that the aforementioned has been residing in the USA since September 2015,

That the currently arrested company partner Yücel Geven, while carrying out the official business of the AFYE Company, asked Mustafa Arslan about matters related to the company's operations, and that Mustafa Arslan carried out activities by consulting with Orhan codenamed Ö.A., who was his superior in terms of organizational structure,

That O.Ö., a member of FETÖ/PDY, operated as the company manager,

That O.Ö. and company partner Mustafa Çintaş were last abroad between 28/04/2017 and 01/05/2017,

That the accounting operations of the AFYE Company were carried out by M.E., a freelance accountant, financial advisor, and independent auditor, and that the aforementioned had partnerships in FETÖ/PDY institutions in the past,

That the person named A.O., who was dismissed from public service while a Treasury expert, was one of the officials responsible for 'secret services' in the military structure of FETÖ/PDY, and that the products of the AFYE Company were also sold at Pharmacy B in Ankara/Çankaya, which belonged to his wife, pharmacist M.O., (...)"

SECOND LETTER: "SIGNATORY AUTHORITY IS WITH ÇİNTAŞ"

The second letter sent by the MIT Presidency to the prosecutor's office was sent on September 10, 2017. That is, about four weeks after the first one.

The MIT reports new findings regarding Çintaş:

"(...) Regarding the activities of FETÖ/PDY directed at the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK);

It has been reported that Mustafa Çintaş, the authorized signatory manager of the Ankara-based AFYE Herbal Products Company (Deva Support Services Chemistry Health Food Import Export Trade Limited Company), which was allocated for the organization's activities directed at the Land Forces Command (KKK), planned to sell the aforementioned company as of September 2017 due to the possibility of a trustee being appointed,

That the aforementioned, who offered the company for sale with all its assets, had currently reached an agreement with a buyer,

On the other hand, it has been gathered through intelligence that it was stated by organizational circles that 'Mustafa Çintaş would use the money obtained from the sale of the company for his own purposes'. (...)"

THIRD LETTER: "CONNECTIONS OF CIVIL IMAMS WITH THE FETÖ COMPANY"

Only 18 days after the second letter, the MIT delivered a new letter dated September 28, 2017, to the prosecutor's office, this time revealing the connections between the firm named AYFE, in which Çintaş was actively involved, and the civil imams of FETÖ.

The letter contained the following information:

"(...) Within the scope of determining the activities of the FETÖ/PDY terrorist organization directed at GATA (Gülhane Military Medical Academy); within the structure called 'Secret Services' in the cellular communication network created by organization members using operational lines between 2010 and 2013;

As 'Civil Imams' reporting to the fugitive R.A., the 'GATA Imam', who is one of the senior FETÖ/PDY executives;

Yücel Geven, who is in contact with retired Medical Brigadier General M.Ö. and Colonel V.A., who are employees of the AFYE Herbal Products Company,

Prof. Dr. Ö.A., who carries out the R&D Manager duties of the AFYE Company, who was dismissed from public service while a faculty member at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, and who is in contact with Medical Colonel E.Y., Medical Colonel M.Ö., Medical Lieutenant Colonel S.D., and Medical Lieutenant Colonel E.A.,

It has been reported through intelligence that the following individuals are involved: Mustafa Arslan, the owner of the AFYE Company and a Bylock user; D.B., a former executive of Kaynak Holding, a partner of Akilus Information Technologies Ltd. Co., and a Bylock user; Ö.Y., an employee of educational institutions affiliated with FETÖ/PDY; M.İ., who works as a mathematics teacher at the Sincan Türkoğlu Secondary School affiliated with the Ministry of National Education; M.B., an employee of educational institutions affiliated with FETÖ/PDY and a partner of the AFYE Company; İ.E., an employee of educational institutions affiliated with FETÖ/PDY; and the person named Lawyer A.Y.

2- It has been reported through intelligence that the 'Civil Imam' Lawyer A.Y., who is among the contacts of the 'GATA Imam' R.A., was in contact with the following medical officers during their service at the Istanbul GATA Haydarpaşa Training Hospital Command between 2011 and 2013 by using different operational lines: Prof. Med. Maj. Gen. M.Z.K., Prof. Med. Col. C.B., Prof. Med. Col. G.S., who currently has SGK information at İkiler Health Enterprises Ltd. Co., and Asst. Prof. Dr. Ö.Ö., a lecturer at the Istanbul University of Health Sciences.

3- It has been reported through intelligence that the 'Civil Imam' Ö.Y., who is among the contacts of the 'GATA Imam' R.A., was in contact with the following medical officers during their service at the Ankara Gülhane Military Medical Academy and the Ministry of National Defense (MSB) Health Department between 2011 and 2013 by using different operational lines:

Prof. Med. Col. S.C., Medical Major H.İ., who was on duty at the MSB Health Department during the failed coup attempt of July 15 and was dismissed from the profession within the scope of the KHK, and who currently has SGK information at Akademi Joint Occupational Health Safety Construction Education Tourism Food and YTic.Ltd.Co., and Colonel N.G., who was the Training Branch Manager of the General Staff Training Department during the failed coup attempt of July 15.

4- It has been reported through intelligence that the 'Civil Imam' M.B., who is among the contacts of the 'GATA Imam' R.A., established contact with Medical Colonel R.A., who retired from the position of Head of the Health Department at the MSB and currently has SGK information at Karataş Occupational Health and Safety Education Trade Ltd. Co., by using different operational lines between 2011 and 2013. (...)"

QUESTIONS RAISED BY THE TABLE

As can be seen from all three letters of the MIT; detailed information was obtained and sent to the prosecutor's office in a timely manner, not only about Çintaş but also about the structure he was in.

According to this picture, two questions arise?

According to this data, how is it that a retired TSK member who is a FETÖ suspect is actively engaged in politics within the MHP? Who or who acted as intermediaries?

Why was exactly 7 years waited for the information that the MIT obtained in 2017 and delivered via official letters to be turned into a judicial investigation? Why did the prosecutor's office and the police not take action in time? Was Çintaş protected by the prosecutor's office and the police? In the process leading up to today, does Çintaş being an MHP member have an effect?

Sometimes, situations that "the devil sees" occur in daily life.

Based on this, I wonder who served in both the courthouse and the police department from 2017 to today?

Reaching these names, in my opinion, would pave the way for finding the answer to the second question in particular.
