The final member elected to the YSK has been determined

Nurullah Bodur, a member of the 10th Criminal Chamber of the Court of Cassation, has been elected as a member of the Supreme Election Council (YSK) from the Court of Cassation quota.

Following the expiration of the terms of 6 members, including YSK President Ahmet Yener, in January, an election process was initiated at the Court of Cassation and the Council of State, and 3 names were determined from the Council of State quota.

For the 3 members to be elected from the Court of Cassation quota, in the elections that began on January 19, Mehmet Arı was elected to the YSK with 169 votes in the voting held on March 26, and İhsan Kamil Akçadırcı was elected with 180 votes in the voting on April 7.

In the election held by the General Assembly of the Court of Cassation today, Nurullah Bodur was appointed as a YSK member after receiving 169 votes.

A NEW ERA BEGINS AT THE YSK

The 6 members elected by the General Assemblies of the Court of Cassation and the Council of State will take their oaths and begin their duties today.

Following the swearing-in ceremony, the new administration will be determined at 16:00 with an election to replace the YSK President and Vice President, whose terms have expired.
