CHP's Sinem Dedetaş, who was elected as the first female mayor of Üsküdar in the March 31 Local Elections, announced that her first act will be to provide market support to retirees.
RESPONDED TO ALLEGATIONS
Appearing as a guest on the "İlker Karagöz ile Çalar Saat" program on NOW TV, Dedetaş spoke about the images circulating on social media that include claims that municipal staff are on leave.
Dedetaş said, "There are some things appearing on social media. The accuracy of these needs to be discussed."
FIRST TASK: SUPPORT FOR RETIREES!
Responding to Karagöz's question about what her first act would be, Dedetaş replied as follows:
"First, we need to convene the Council and make a decision. The first thing on my mind is the support we will provide to retirees. We had announced a market support program. We are planning to implement that quickly. There are processes that will begin with zoning issues, urban transformation, and the establishment of a disaster directorate. We need to carry out these processes simultaneously."
