As the Ramadan Feast holiday nears its end, return travel and traffic density have begun to increase.
On the 7th day of the holiday (April 12, 2024), 664 traffic accidents occurred.
349,174 vehicles were inspected.
Speeding and radar-related penalties were issued to 24,583 vehicles, while other penalties were issued to 27,808 vehicles.

Meanwhile, Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya shared the grim toll of traffic accidents that occurred during the first 7 days of the holiday with the warning, 'Please, let's not forget.'
Yerlikaya announced that 4,370 traffic accidents occurred in 7 days, 55 citizens lost their lives, and 7,331 citizens were injured.
