'The Hatters' operation in Ankara: 5 people arrested

A detention order has been issued for 5 suspects alleged to have links to a criminal organization known in the public as "The Hatters" in Ankara.
According to a statement from the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office Media Communication Bureau, the suspects were identified within the scope of an investigation into incidents that occurred over the past week, on charges of "damaging property by fire" and "intentional injury with a weapon."
Following the work carried out by teams from the Ankara Provincial Police Department's Anti-Organized Crime Branch under the coordination of the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, detention warrants were issued for the 5 suspects.
The suspects, whose procedures at the police station were completed, were referred to the criminal judgeship of peace with a request for arrest. The judgeship ruled for the arrest of all 5 suspects.
The statement from the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office noted that the investigation is being conducted in a multi-faceted and meticulous manner.
