LEADERS ARRIVED AT BEŞTEPE IN THE MORNING
The leaders, who were hosted by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Emine Erdoğan at the Presidential Complex on the first day of the summit, arrived at Beştepe again in the morning for the second day's program.
The heads of state and government completed their preparations before the meetings to be held at the Presidential Exhibition Hall and took their places in the hall where the sessions would be held.
THE FIRST DAY ENDED WITH A RECEPTION
The first day of the NATO Leaders' Summit concluded with an official reception held at Beştepe.
At the reception given by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in honor of the leaders, messages of cooperation and solidarity among allied countries came to the fore, while the leaders also met for informal talks.
CRITICAL AGENDA ITEMS ON THE TABLE
In the sessions to be held at the Presidential Exhibition Hall on the second day of the summit, topics regarding regional security, NATO's enlargement policy, and global defense cooperation are expected to be discussed.
Within the scope of the program, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is expected to continue his bilateral and inter-delegation contacts with the participating leaders. Following the conclusion of the summit, Erdoğan is expected to hold a press conference regarding the issues discussed at the meetings.
