The mystery of the missing phone solved: Statements from Eylem Tok's son's friends revealed!

In the traffic accident in Eyüpsultan where Oğuz Murat Aci lost his life and 4 people were injured, the statements given to the police by the driver's friends have been obtained.

17-year-old Alp K., one of the individuals who was in the same vehicle as the driver T.C. during the accident, stated in his testimony at the Eyüpsultan District Police Department Public Security Bureau that the suspect had come to pick him up from his home in his luxury vehicle, and that another friend named Kemal D. was also in the car, but they had dropped him off at his home.

Explaining that they subsequently went to T.C.'s house and waited there for their friend named Demir Ö., who arrived in his own vehicle, Alp K. said, "As far as I remember, Demir, Hakkı, and Poyraz were in the car. We became 5 people in total and left the site. I got into the car T.C. was in. Demir, Hakkı, and Poyraz followed us in the other vehicle. We picked up our friends named Yılmaz A. and Kerem A. from a different site. Kerem A. and Yılmaz A. got into the other vehicle. We were 7 people in total, we drove around Göktürk and came to the site square."

Stating that 3 more people joined them there and they started chatting, Alp K. noted that a total of 10 people left the square in the vehicles, bought fuel, and entered the Bahçeköy forest road.

Alp K. explained that on the forest road, the driver of the other vehicle signaled for them to pass, T.C. overtook them, and accelerated after a speed bump on the road, stating, "Then T.C. saw something on the right side of the road in our direction of travel and suddenly swerved the steering wheel to the left to avoid hitting it. The right side of the vehicle, where I was sitting, started to slide towards the ATV-style vehicles. After our vehicle hit the ATVs, it went up onto the slope on the left."

Claiming that after the accident, he and the other 3 people got out of the vehicle and tried to communicate with the 2 injured, Alp K. noted that he learned there was also an injured person on the cliff side of the road and under the vehicle they had crashed.

Alp K. stated that in the aftermath of the incident, he learned that people passing by were trying to help the injured and had called an ambulance.

Stating that T.C. called his private driver and his mother to say he had an accident, Alp K. explained that after a while, T.C.'s mother and a woman arrived at the scene, picked up T.C., himself, and Demir Ö., and took them away from the area.

Alp K. stated that after T.C. and his mother dropped him and Demir Ö. off at the entrance of the site, they left, and he claimed, "While we were in front of the site, we saw that the mobile phone belonging to one of the injured was left with our friend named Zekai Hakkı. Subsequently, I went to my friend named Kemal who lives in this site."

Zekai Hakkı D. (16), who was in the other vehicle during the accident, explained that he had gone to stay with his friend Demir Ö. on the day of the incident, that T.C. called Demir Ö. in the evening to meet, and that after a while, they got into Demir Ö.'s father's car with 4 other people and went to T.C.'s house.

Stating that other friends joined them in the vehicle driven by T.C., Zekai Hakkı D. noted that they entered the Bahçeköy forest road and T.C. started driving fast, overtaking their own vehicle.

Zekai Hakkı D. continued as follows:

"When he entered the curve ahead sharply, the cars started to sway and slide. However, since there was distance between us, I couldn't see exactly. When we took the curve, we saw that T.C.'s vehicle had gone into the water channel on the left side of the road. We immediately stopped our vehicle. When we got down, we saw two male individuals lying injured in the middle of the road. I went to one of the injured and tried to talk to him. The injured person turned his flash on for me and gave me his phone, asking me to check his head. I took the phone and shone a light on his head. Out of absent-mindedness at that moment, I put the person's phone in my pocket. Then I went to the other injured person."

Reporting that people passing by came to help and the area became crowded, Zekai Hakkı D. claimed that they took Demir Ö.'s vehicle and left the scene with Kerem A. to clear the road for the ambulance and fire brigade that would arrive, and left the vehicle at the site.

"T.C.'S MOTHER WANTED TO TAKE THE PHONE FROM THE SECURITY GUARD, SAYING 'I WILL GIVE IT TO ITS OWNER'"

Stating that while he was calling a taxi to go back to the scene, Demir Ö. arrived in an older model vehicle and told him that he had the phone of one of the injured in his hand and that they should return to the scene and leave it there, Zekai Hakkı D. claimed:

Zekai Hakkı D. continued his words as follows:

"At that moment, Kerem got into the taxi. Thinking he would go to the scene, I gave the phone to Kerem. Kerem, saying he could not bear such a responsibility, left the phone on the wall at the entrance of the site. Then the security guard came and took the phone. Afterwards, the parents also came to the front of the site and took us away. T.C.'s mother wanted to take the phone from the security guard, saying, 'I will give it to its owner.' The guard gave the phone to T.C.'s mother. Then T.C.'s mother left the front of the site."

WHAT HAD HAPPENED?

In Eyüpsultan, one of the 3 ATVs traveling on the road broke down, and while they were trying to repair the broken-down vehicle pulled to the side of the road, one of the two vehicles traveling in the same direction hit the 3 ATVs there.

Oğuz Murat Aci, who was injured in the accident, along with İbrahim Gümüş, T.A., S.K., and H.T., were taken to the hospital, and Aci, one of the injured, lost his life despite interventions.

In the investigation, it was determined that the 17-year-old driver T.C., who caused the accident, left the scene with the vehicle of his mother Eylem Tok, who arrived at the scene, and that the mother and son first went to Istanbul Airport and then to Egypt by plane.

Within the scope of the investigation carried out by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, an arrest warrant was issued for the driver T.C., who fled to Egypt, and his mother, the author Eylem Tok.

The Chief Public Prosecutor's Office had sent a letter to the Ministry of Justice for the issuance of a red notice for the driver under 18 and his mother Eylem Tok.

Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç, in a post on his social media account, noted that an arrest warrant had been issued for T.C. and his mother Eylem Tok, that contact had been made with the Egyptian judicial authorities for the extradition of the two suspects who went to Egypt by plane on March 2 to Turkey, and that a red notice had been requested for the suspects.

Tunç had stated, "Upon the notification by the Egyptian Interpol that the individuals had departed from Egypt in the direction of the USA, the temporary arrest request documents prepared for the extradition of the aforementioned persons from the USA to our country were transmitted to the competent US authorities both through diplomatic channels and via Interpol."
